Even Paul said he stilled sinned in Romans 7. Wow, you are greater than he was I suppose.
Like the rest of us, It is impossible for you to not have some sort of sin in you life. As a true Christian, the point is you should have a repentant heart for those inequities and Like in Roman 8:1, when you do mess up, there is no condemnation. I think it it would be better if you checked your pride at the door!
Remember, God said he would look at our sin no more, he didn't say we wouldn't have sin no more....just that we are forgiven and there is no condemnation.

Why did you assume I said this ?

I sound like a broken record. I said:

You said this:

No, that is incorrect, again and again: Jesus produces , we bear...they are not the same thing. This is where you are incorrect and refuse to admit!

You got to be joking....this is why you assume I disagree with scripture ? Brother what is the deal with you ?
Show me how YOU think the scriptures says oposite of what i said. Youstill have not done this RJ. The only reason I am asking this is because accused me of making scripture say something else. YOU ACCUSED ME so I said show me and still you have not.

John 15:5 says.........I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Again here is John 15:5 and I said this.................
I have changed nothing............this says the same..........He is the vine or the source and we are the branches or we get life from Him and if we walk in His ways which means doing all of them RJ........then we will produce good fruit..........for with out Christ we will produce poor or bad fruit........for wee would walk in the way of the world.............RJ now this does not say.............just because you are born again and in Christ that you produce good fruits.......you must work and learn and change in order to develope these frutis of the spirit..........

So again RJ show me in this where I say anything against this scripture...........You accused me of twisting this..where?
Brother rj you might want to check into things before you say I am wrong and so forth...
Blessings RJ

I am not sinning "now" so I am not sinning for eternity.

Let's get this straight!
I said that and wired quoted me.
And I stick by what I said.

Then why did Paul say it is not him sinning.
Sorry, I can't tell if you are talking to me or wired?
If me, like I said: Paul meant it was not him spiritually and therefor no condemnation. He admitted to the sin he still struggled with in the flesh!

Then why did Paul say it is not him sinning?
Paul was teaching young Christians and showing them why they still had thoughts or urges to sin etc...
Paul never says in this that the sin I did was not me...Paul is showing that there is more old nature in them then there should be.

I have already explained this but you refuse to listen...the same bringeth forth much fruit..this means that the christian, the branch, does not produce the fruit but "bringeth forth" or bears the fruit!
Let's just agree to disagree and move on!

You said this: I am not sinning "now" so I am not sinning for eternity
Do you mean you have no sin in you at all? If not, you need to clarify yourself!

Brother RJ I see the problem here....lol
Actually I did not say that at all. This cross hurts did and I quoted him asking what he meant by that....

Ok guys, lets take our time and actually read and consider each others posts.
I tried to tell RJ in two other posts that it was my quote so I think we may be reading to fast.

Yes that was confusing. Let's just agree to disagree on who produces, who bears and what fruit is then and move on to something else!

OK, if I have this right now:
  • Wired and I disagree on what John 15:5 says and means, and
  • Thisscrosshurts and I disagree on what Romans 7 says and means.
  • Is that correct?

Haha, your close,I agree with you( RJ) on John 15:5
Wired disagrees with me on romans 17:7

What's odd is that I originally used Romans to back up RJ's position on John.
It ended up causing RJ to disagree with me.
So i think if I am wrong on romans then RJ and I are wrong on John.

 SO we, the two of us have no disagreements?

I don't see any because I think I am spirit and not flesh and I don't think I'm both at the same time.
I think that when Paul say's "I" he is talking about him being the spirit man.
He saw the flesh as a heap of death that he had to drag around.
The one from heaven can not sin.
You said Paul's spiritual self has no sin and I simply think that he decided his spiritual self was his real and only self.

What did he struggle with?
Why do you think he said:
  1. "I do what I don't want to do", and
  2. " I don't do what I don't want to do?
