Mid-tribulation

lecoop i understand now how I misunderstood you on a lot of your quotes
we ars using defferent bibles that couses confusion all of those other translation
have more than one hundred thousand words took out of them. that is like taking out the book of revelation out and throwing it away. just remember adding to the word get the plagues added to you and taking away gets you took out of the book of life. and i am not trying to be smart. Coop i have been studying the bible for 26+ years i cant get the loard out of my mind i think of him every day. almos 24-7 if i dont have the holy spirit with me i dont think i would be like this all the time. i love the loard so much
he gave me two beautiful guirls and a good wife. we have been together for 21 years.i am only 50 years old . and i know i have a long way to go but i will stick to my kjv it is the closest thing for me to the real word. i dont want a bible that has all those words taken out. seams we are both on fire! but i am sticking to what i belive and you can stick to what you belive. we both belive in christ so we both will go to heaven. no matter when he comes.

Kevin, of course you can stick with what you believe, but much of what you just wrote here is MYTH. It is simply NOT the truth of God's word. Please understand once and for all, MANY people who "believe" are lukewarm and will MISS the rapture. Their ONLY WAY to heaven after that will be to refuse the mark and lose their head.

Next, you need to research the holy Spirit in the New Testament and notice the difference between the Holy Spirit "ON" or "UPON" versus the Holy Spirit "within" or "in." God was VERY careful to note the difference. We get the Holy Spirit within when we are born again, but we get the Holy Spirit upon us ONLY when we don't bypass Acts 1 and 2, and received the mighty baptism with the Holy Spirit. Kevin, there is a HUGE difference.

As for the bibles, I usually quote from the KJV because I search on the KJV. But there are times when newer translations do a better job of translating words, such as the previous example of "after."

I agree with you, many of the newer translations have removed words.

cya guys until next month.

Mike:
What we have here.

I recall me warning you two before about this type of thing. Two smart guys, that can't understand simple instructions. Mighty in the Word, yet no comprehension in the simple things.

So.............. since you ignored me..............

Should I give you each an infraction? Should I ban you two for a few days? Should I just leave another warning in hopes that both of you get some understanding?

I mean, how hard is it to just present scripture, without personally attacking each other?

I know......... You two tell each other sorry, and that you love one another......... otherwise, I am giving each of you a month off.

Your decision needs to be posted in public on this thread, don't make me wait long.

Jesus Is Lord.
The greatest of all is Love. All doctrines aside, it is what makes us the light of the World. You can know everything, have faith to move mountains, speak the tongues of Angels, but without love? It means nothing.

1Jn 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

There are people here that just seem to enjoy posting some thing different from what I believe. Jari, Jiggyfly, the list is long. I still love these brothers, I would never think of posting something to belittle them as someone that loves God. I thank God for them.

1Co 13:7 Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].
1Co 13:8 Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. As for prophecy ([4] the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away [it will lose its value and be superseded by truth].
1Co 13:9 For our knowledge is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect), and our prophecy (our teaching) is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect).

Doctrines will come and go, but Love never fails. When we put our own belief before Love, we are in error.

I asked Kevin and Lecoop to say sorry, and that they loved one another. That was way to much for their flesh.

They both now get a month off.

Jesus Is Lord.

Hello Mike.

When it comes to priorities in the Christian life you scored 100%.

The greatest of all is Love. All doctrines aside, it is what makes us the light of the World.
You can know everything, have faith to move mountains, speak the tongues of Angels,
but without love? It means nothing.

That is the Christian Life Mike, well done.

Your Christian maturity is shining through.

Revelation 11:3–7 KJV
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

These two witnesses are two prophets with powers similar to those of Elijah and Moses. Notice that they are to prophesy for 1260 days. That is three-and-half years, or half of the tribulation. In verse seven, John points out that the two witnesses will fulfill their job of judging the earth while they tell the world Jesus is coming to rule as King. After they have completed their mission for 1260 days, God permits them to be killed as martyrs at the end of the sixth trumpet judgment. After three-and-a-half days, God will raise them from the dead. He will then call them to heaven while the world watches them slowly ascend, just as Jesus did after His resurrection. In verse fourteen, we learn that the second woe, and sixth trumpet judgment, are finished the same hour.
Think about what this means. The sixth trumpet judgment is completed after the 1260 days that the two witnesses preached. Please understand that the finishing of the second woe and sixth trumpet judgment occur at the middle of the seven-year tribulation. Half of the world’s population will be dead by the end of the sixth trumpet judgment and the first half of the tribulation period. There will not be a lasting peace in the first half of the tribulation period. The tribulation starts with a peace treaty, but Paul says, “When they say peace and safety, sudden destruction cometh upon them” (1 Thessalonians 5:3).

Revelation 11:15 KJV

15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

WHAT HAPPENED TO cause the kingdoms of this world to become
the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ?

Revelation 12:7–14 KJV
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against
the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

When the seventh angel blows the trumpet to start the second half of the tribulation period called the great tribulation, God declares war on Satan. God sends the archangel Michael with the faithful angels to defeat the dragon we call the Devil, or Satan. Satan will be cast to the earth with the rebellious angels, and we see that the dragon, or Satan, will persecute Israel (the woman) for a short time.
Did you notice that the third woe corresponds to the seventh trumpet judgment?
Verse twelve indicates that the Devil is the third woe! Then the passage goes on to say that the people of Israel are carried away on the wings of an eagle. It will be for three-and-a-half times, or three-and-a-half years. The sixth trumpet judgment was finished one hour after the two witnesses completed their 1260 day ministry and completed the first half of the seven-year tribulation. The seventh trumpet judgment and third woe will last through the last three-and-a-half years of the tribulation and will complete the seven-year tribulation period. Therefore, the seventh trumpet judgment lasts for the whole time of the great tribulation.
If you were taught that Revelation 11:15 refers to the end of the tribulation, I hope you now understand that the seventh trumpet judgment occurs in the middle of it. Yes, the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of God and His Son Jesus Christ in the middle of the tribulation by heavenly warfare.

Isaiah 24:17–23 KJV
17 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
18 And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

In the tribulation period, after the earth starts to reel to and fro because of the asteroid impact in Revelation 8:8, In verse 21 the host of the high ones is Satan and his rebellious angels. They will be gathered to the earth together with the kings of the earth by God, and the rebellious angels will be imprisoned with the rebellious men on the earth and be shut up for many days. It will be for three-and-a-half years, as we saw in Revelation 12:14. God will conquer the Devil and cast him to the earth for judgment. The Lord and His Christ will not occupy the earth during the three-and-a-half years of the great tribulation, but they will own the earth and will use it as a prison. After the battle of Armageddon, Jesus will rule the earth with a rod of iron, or by force. During the last half of the tribulation, God’s judgment of earth will increase in intensity over time.

Hello Eric.

Eric this is what I read in your post.

These two witnesses are two prophets with powers similar to those of Elijah and Moses.

I do not agree with what you stated Eric, the two witnesses have phenomenal powers. They are very special witnesses and they wear sackcloth, they are in mourning. I do not think that they are at all similar to Moses, these two are empowered by God to smite mankind. It takes the beast to kill them Eric.
Why did you say that they were similar to Moses?

The ONLY thing remaining is for the Father to say GO!!!!

OF COURSE the return of Jesus will follow Matthew 24, for that is every bit as much the word of God as 1 Thes. 4:17. But when Jesus said those words, the church did not even exist! He was giving the end of the ISRAELI people, not the church; i.e., the 70th week. In fact, He covered the entire church age in the first few verses, then jumped into the 70th week at the Midpoint. His coming there is to be compared to His coming in Rev 24, NOT His coming in 1 thes. 4.

Coop

And when will the FATHER say "Go"? JESUS said HE would not come until....
Matthew 23:39
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Who was HE talking to?

At the 'rapture' people do not see HIM. At the second coming the whole world sees HIM

Kevin I have to step in here. You said Benedict may be the Antichrist....Does he come from the middle east?

By the way...Rome is not Babylon. Its Rome. Babylon is now called Iraq

Read Ezekiel and Daniel They give a lot of info about where the man comes from. The Antichrist has to be Muslim. Of this I am positive.

2 Thessalonians 7-12KJV indicates everyone who heard and rejected the

truth of the gospel will be caused by God to believe the lie of the

antichrist after the Holy Spirit and the Christians are taken away.

666 will come to power in America and all the Christian

nations. All the people left in the churches after the rapture will form

an ecumenical apostate church centered in Rome which God call the

great ***** of Babylon. The ***** will tell the kings of the western

countries what to do because they have power over the people.

Eric If the HOLY SPIRIT is taken away before the Antichrist is revealed, how will anyone be saved. The WORD says there will be many saved during the tribulation period including 144 000 Jews Yet the WORD say that nobody can be saved without the drawing of God

The sixth trumpet judgment was finished one hour after the two

witnesses completed their 1260 day ministry and completed the first

half of the seven-year tribulation. The seventh trumpet judgment and

third woe will last through the last three-and-a-half years of the

tribulation and will complete the seven-year tribulation period.

Therefore, the seventh trumpet judgment lasts for the whole time of

the great tribulation.

The antichrist will come riding a white horse to conquer Egypt and Syria at the

start of the tribulation because they break the treaty. See Daniel 11:40-43a. The

antichrist will stay in Israel with the western armies and will fight Russia and its

allies when God puts a hook in its jaw and draws Russia to Israel.

HUH?! Did you fall out of bed? The Antichrist will what? Where do you get this stuff?

I know you're talking to Coop but come on. At least say what the WORD says.

The He that is coming in the name of the Lord is Jesus.

Those being spoken too where the people of Israel who would one day see their Messiah coming to save them with the army of heaven. Habakkuk3:11-13.

Habakkuk 3:11–13 KJV
11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.
12 Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.
13 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

The world will see the light of Jesus as bright as the sun in it's strength Revelation 1:16 at His appearing.

1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 KJV
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them
which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. —1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 KJV

These verses explain that some day Jesus will come back to earth and call every person who has accepted Him as Lord and Savior to meet Him up in the air above the earth. Since the apostle John told us that Jesus now shines “as the sun in its strength,” the world will see the light of Jesus’ glory in the heavens over the earth at His appearing
2 Timothy 4:1,8, but, sadly, those who are non-Christians will have no idea what has happened.

I believe the antichrist will lie to the people and tell them there was an alien abduction at the time of the rapture.

These verses explain that someday Jesus will come back to earth and call every person who has accepted Him as Lord and Savior to meet Him up in the air above the earth.

Eric I absolutely agree that the Antichrist is a major class deceiver. I firmly believe in pretrib rapture. I firmly believe that when the bride is taken out of the way, and she is no longer here to hold the enemy back, that the Antichrist will come into power.

However Many here tend to confuse the rapture with the second coming. As you stated above, 'every eye will see HIM' That's at the second coming three and a half years after the rapture.

Christian meeting JESUS in the air is the rapture at the beginning. And at the rapture nobody sees anything with the exception of people vanishing.

The He that is coming in the name of the Lord is indeed JESUS but HE does not come until Israel speaks those words..JESUS said so.

Matthew 23:39
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Luke 13:35
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Luke 13:34-35 (Common English Bible)

34 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those who were sent to you! How often I have wanted to gather your people just as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings. But you didn’t want that. 35 Look, your house is abandoned. I tell you, you won’t see me until the time comes when you say,Blessings on the one who comes in the Lord’s name.”<sup class="footnote" value="[<a href=&quot;#fen-CEB-2401a&quot; title=&quot;See footnote a&quot;>a</a>]">[a]

So. it appears we are agreed. At least in the major points

Yes we do agree on many points.

However at the mid point of the tribulation I believe the following:

Actually you are partly right. They will join JESUS but there is not a catching up because Jesus is here, where all the world can see HIM

I don't understand?

Ha! No wonder you didn't understand. I confused myself too :embarasse

JESUS comes back with HIS bride at the end of the seven years. That's when all the world will see HIM, and the bride. That's when the ones saved during the tribulation period join our KING.

The point is...the bride cannot come with JESUS when HE comes unless they have already gone to meet HIM.

I agree. All the people saved who die in the tribulation will be redeemed and come back with Jesus to Armageddon.

Sorry for the delay! I missed it.

Eric this is what I read in your post.

Water to blood as in Egypt Revelation 8:8and Rev 11:6

Rain stopped when the wind stops Revelation 7:1, Rev 11:6

And other plagues as wanted.

hello Eric.

Your reply consisted of,

Water to blood as in Egypt Revelation 8:8

Revelation 8:8

8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain,
all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood,

Why did you quote Rev 8:8?

We are not discussing angels and trumpets.

We were discussing the two witnesses Eric.

These two witnesses are empowered to do as they wish.

Moses did not have this power, Moses was told what to do.

You seem lost Eric.

Hi David,

I also quoted Revelation 11:6 in which we are told the two witnesses have the power to change water to blood as Moses did in Egypt.

I quoted Revelation 8:8 because it happened there.
